HRFA Field Force Attends CKA Sales Leaders Meeting Nestled high in the Wellsburg hills of West Virginia, sits a Mansion of opulence that at one time catered to the whims of the rich and famous. The estate is now owned by the Catholic Knights of America and the Mansion is listed on the National Historic Register. John Kenawell, President of the CKA, extended an invitation to the Federation and members of its Field Force to attend their sales leaders meeting at the Mansion held on July 13-15, 1999. The meeting was designated “Back to the Basics.” The site of the meeting was the former Vancroft estate, completed in 1901, designed by the famous architectural team of Alden and Harlow for Joseph B. Vandergrift, a Pittsburgh millionaire. Attending the meeting from the Federation were Secretary Endre Csornán and his wife Arlene, Branch Manager Rev. Arpad Drotos and his wife Stefánia Sule, former Director Joseph Kovács and Director Michael Pauli, Jr., and his wife Margaret. Upon arrival at 3:30 p.m., we were greeted by Jay Schenk, Sales and Marketing Director of the CKA. Private rooms were assigned and after a brief period of relaxation, we were further welcomed by Presi-HRFA Field Force Members attending the CKA Sales Leaders Meeting.
