Burbridge Assistant Pastor: Attila Szentesi** Chief Elder: Mei (Ray) Remo Winter - 1998 In January, our Chief Elder, Bob Boné, went home to be with our Lord. He died in the Holy Land while on vacation with his wife Betty. Bob was God’s faithful servant in our church and cared deeply for it. Our congregation was shocked and saddened by Bob’s sudden death. In February, Remo (Ray) Mei became our chief elder. Our congregation, while grieving over the loss of Bob Boné, rallied and supported Ray as he took over the responsibilities of chief elder. Ray has proved to be hard working, faithful and wise. Spring - 1998 During the Easter season, we welcomed some new members into our church. Also, Bishop Tőkés from Romania visited our church during the month of April. We enjoyed the fellowship with him and learning more about life in Romania. Summer - 1998 Evangelist David Ring spoke in our church in June. We had visitors from other churches come to hear David give his wonderful and unique testimony.
