The Lunch Program is strictly our own project serving the needs of gram­mar school children since the school system does not provide the service. Our church derives a monthly income from the effort. Numerically, the church is stagnant. A few people may come and join the church fellowship but not enough to offset the loss of membership due to death or moving away. Even though there is a sizable younger group who bring their children to Sunday School, the church membership is aging. There is not only a generational but a cultural change taking place; spoken Hungarian is not as commonplace as it once was and the younger generation identifies with its roots through the ethnic foods and the an­nual Grape Harvest Dance. Sentimentality for the past and intermarriages between members are two tangible proofs for cohesion in the church which tends to polarize and fractionalize the fellowship. As a result, there is 86
