The Lunch Program is strictly our own project serving the needs of grammar school children since the school system does not provide the service. Our church derives a monthly income from the effort. Numerically, the church is stagnant. A few people may come and join the church fellowship but not enough to offset the loss of membership due to death or moving away. Even though there is a sizable younger group who bring their children to Sunday School, the church membership is aging. There is not only a generational but a cultural change taking place; spoken Hungarian is not as commonplace as it once was and the younger generation identifies with its roots through the ethnic foods and the annual Grape Harvest Dance. Sentimentality for the past and intermarriages between members are two tangible proofs for cohesion in the church which tends to polarize and fractionalize the fellowship. As a result, there is 86
