2) More harmony, more love, more involvement on the part of church members of all ages. A closer Christian family.

3) Increased membership and financial commitment. Better stewardship of the resources given us by God.

4) Upholding of our Hungarian worship and social traditions. Increase the appreciation of these traditions among our younger members.

5) Stay in our neighborhood of Birmingham. Maintain our facilities here. Continue to be an active and important part of this neighborhood’s life.

6) Plan to build an activity center for all ages.

Some progress has already been made on these priorities. In order to reaffirm our commitment to the youth, we are in the process of hiring a director of youth ministries. We hope to have someone in this position by January 1, 1985.

To begin fulfilling the second priority, “Caring Units” have been organized. Volunteers in these units will seek to minister to the lonely, the shut-ins, the ill and the grieving.

Family concerns will be the focus of another Caring Unit.

We are seeking new ways to increase membership and to build within the congregation an attitude of greater openness and outreach. We are
