152 BETHLEN NAPTÁR seeking also ways to bring forth an increase in our giving, that more and more of our dreams might be realized. By God’s grace and through His guidance, we hope to make progress in all our areas of priority during the new year. Calvin Church is a growing church with around 430 currently active members. At the center of our church life is the worship of God. Every Sunday we worship in the Hungarian and English languages. Mid-week prayer services are held each Thursday evening. Religious and secular holidays are marked with special services. Our Christian Education program involves 125 young people in Sunday School, confirmation, and youth fellowship. Bible study has become increasingly important to the life of our congregation, with both day and evening sessions held each week. Magyar Folk Dancing, athletics, embroidery, the making of kolbász, tészta and fánk, choir, Lorantffy Nőegylet, Calvin Auxiliary, couples’ club, Sr. Citizen activities and community meetings are all part of our busy church schedule. We praise God’s name and thank Him for the life that He’s given us! Using the strength and wisdom granted us by God, Calvin Church in Toledo will continue in His service for many years to come.
