208 BETHLEN NAPTÁR NEW YORK, N. Y. (11th St.) and CLIFFSIDE, N. J. Both churches are served by the Rev. Sigismund Ladányi and both have debt-free church properties. The main supporters of these congregations are the women’s groups. STATEN ISLAND, N. Y. is one of the smallest churches among the Free Magyar Reformed Churches, served by the Rev. Emery Bertalan. This small but loyal group was able to provide for its pastor and family a newly remodeled parsonage. PUGHKEEPSIE-PEEKSKILL-ROSETON, N. Y. This is a group of churches of old Hungarian families, which has been reorganized spiritually and financially by the new pastor, the Rev. Gabriel Csordás, who was oficially installed last year. He is doing most commendable and successful missionary work in this circuit. The Poughkeepsie congregation celebrated its fortieth anniversary in 1950. ROEBLING, N. J. For the last twenty years, this congrega­tion was affiliated with the Trenton church and served by the same pastor. Three years ago, the congregation elected as its full-time minister, the Rev. Dezső Abraham. Under his leader­ship, the curch and recreation building were remodeled, a new organ installed and a parsonage purchased. AKRON, OHIO. The pastor of the congregation is the Rev. Stephen Kovács, Dean of the Western Classis. In the ten years of his pastorate, the church and parsonage were remodeled and a new steeple built. Church life under his leadership flourishes in the spirit of Christ. DUQUESNE, PA. Spiritual development in this congregation is especially noticeable in the fact that church attendance and participation at communion services have greatly increased. This spiritual progress is due to the consecrated spiritual leader of the congregation, the Rev. Stephen Szőke. The amount contri­buted toward the upkeep of the church was a record figure last year. The National Youth Conference of the Free Magyar Churches was held in this church. Plans are underway for a new church, church school and recreation building. DONORA, PA. is a neighborhood small congregation served by the pastor of the Duquesne Church. McKEESPORT, PA. New spirit and new life were brought to this congregation two years ago when the Rev. Louis Nagy of Hungary was elected pastor. Renovations were made on the church and a new organ installed. The Ladies Aid visited the
