204 BETHLEN NAPTÁR having been served in most part by students of the Bloomfield Seminary. The present supply pastor is the Rev. Dr. Frank Kovach, professor in the same school. FRANKLIN, N. J. The pastor, the Rev. Anthony Kruchio, does fine work in this old, small congregation. During the past year, the parsonage was remodeled and the Ladies Aid, which is the main support of the congregation, celebrated its twentieth anniversary. This group is an outstanding supporter of the Bethlen Home. NEWARK, N. J. This congregation is ably led by the Rev. Nicholas Czirányi, young pastor from Hungary, who reorganized all church groups and injected new life into the small congregation. In recent years, the church and parsonage were rebuilt. NEW BRUNSWICK, N. J. is an old congregation. Its pastor is the Rev. Louis Balint under whose forceful and able leadership the old church was completely renewed along with its recreation building. Much stress is laid on youth work here. The minister was moderator of his Presbytery last year. WHARTON, N. J. is an old congregation of old pioneer Hungarians. Their pastor, the Rev. John Dezső, has served this church long and faithfully. His son is also a minister, who serves in an English speking Presbyterian church. NEW YORK, N. Y. (116th St.) is the second of our Hungarian churches in the world’s metropolis and has been served by the Rev. László Harsanyi for more than two decades. LACKAWANNA, N. Y. The Rev. Dr. Eugene Molnár is pastor of this congregation, under whose leadership the membership has taken an active part in helping Hungarian displaced persons in the last few years. Lately the church school building was repainted and their heating system remodeled. YONKERS, N. Y. For the past three years, this small but active congregation had as its preacher the Rev. Nicholas Nyary, who as a theological student instilled new life into the membership. After his ordination last year, he now serves in full capacity as a minister. ALLIANCE, OHIO. The Rev. Stephen Csepke serves this small congregation. He was honored last year by his people on the occasion of his 45th anniversary in the ministry. CANTON, OHIO. With a second generation American as its minister, this congregation leads an active American-way-oflife. Much stress is laid on youth work and spiritual life. The
