BETHLEN NAPTÁR 203 BUFFALO, N. Y. West Side. This congregation was organized as a result of a split in the First Church. It has a fine church and parsonage with a larger membership than the original church. The congregation suffered a great loss in the recent death of their beloved pastor, the Rev. Andrew Babinszky, who served his Master for 35 years. TONAWANDA, N. Y. is affiliated with the West Side Church of Buffalo and was served by the Rev. Babinszky till his passing. In a nicely remodeled church, this congregation celeb­rated its 40th anniversary last year. MILWAUKEE-RACINE, WIS. After the resignation of their pastor, the Rev. Raymond Dobay last year, these affiliated churches recently elected the Rev. Dr. Joseph Zsiros their pastor, who was a professor at the Theological Seminary of Sáros­patak in Hungary. New life and new spiritual awakening is ex­pected in these congregations. LOS ANGELES, CAL. is the western outpost of our Hun­garian churches, organized and served by the Rev. Albert Hady for more than twenty years. After his resignation, the congrega­tion elected as its new pastor the Rev. Anthony Szabó, who is one of the most evangelistic and active pastors of our church. Under his leadership, the congregation has shown splendid re­sults spiritually and financially. SAN BERNARDINO, CAL. After the death of their first pastor, the Rev. Alajos Krisik, the congregation elected the Rev. Joseph Herczegh, previously of Cleveland, as its new minister. The Conference of Protestant Ministers’ Wives of that district was held in this church last year. HUNGARIAN CONGREGATIONS IN THE PRESBYTERIAN CHURCH IN THE U. S. ALPHA, N. J. is one of the oldest Hungarian congregations of the Presbyterian Church, whose pastor, the Rev. Andrew Szabó, is distinguished in the fact that he is one of a very few pastors serving in one place for almost thirty years. The con­gregation is self-supporting and free of debt. Rev. Szabó was moderator of his Presbytery last year. ELIZABETH, N. J. The minister of this congregation is the Rev. Charles Bogár. He was recently honored by his congrega­tion on the occasion of his twentieth anniversary in the ministry. CALDWELL, N. J. is a supply pastorate since its founding,
