followed. By March, 1905 it turned out that the lapidary master could not complete the red marble stairs in time, and thus asked to reschedule the end of May deadline to September. Czigler in his capacity as the designer architect insisted on the soonest completion possible. This was his very last entry before his death. What we can keep track of from then on are only the instructions of Samu Pecz, who was appointed foreman. Details of the building, such as the design of the swing doors at the end of the corridors thus bear traces of Pecz's taste and style as well. As the end of April 1905 saw strikes on all construction sites in the capital, the campus project was also interrupted. Despite the ongoing strikes, in May the Pump and Engine Factory delivered the cast-iron columns and the iron trusses for the first and second storeys of the building. By June the bricklayers reached the capping. Interior masonries, as well as the construction of the ceilings were built beneath the completed slating. In 1906 only the interiors had to be completed. Meanwhile, several problems occurred in the recently completed Ch Building (e.g. the library housed in it had a parquet flooring laid on sand which started to decay and thus had to be replaced), in the F Building asphalt was used instead. As this decay was caused by the slow drying process of the vaulted ceiling, it was feared that similar technological problems must be faced in the case of the F Building as a result of the accelerated construction stage. In spring 1906 internal plasterwork, the installation of electric lighting as well as the gas and water supply system was completed. The need to use the auditoriums for projection also occurred, which in turn required blackout and acoustic curtains. In May the external public utilities were ready, The idea to integrate the heating systems contained separately in the buildings all over the Campus was put on the agenda. A battery plant
