István Dobó Castle Museum, Eger 25 August - 26 November 2017 Curators: József Kelenik and Emese Pásztor The exhibition, a result of the collaborative efforts of the Museum of Applied Arts and the István Dobó Castle Museum, presented not only the most beautiful of the related objects from the Museum of Applied Arts (including Ottoman-period ceremonial weapons), but also valuable material from the bequest of armoury collector István Péterváry (1953-2013) of Eger. This superb exhibition closed in Sharjah in January 2017. It included forty-five objects from among those Ottoman-Turkish treasures in the Museum of Applied Arts that survived in the territory of Hungary or Transylvania.
