2. View of the exhibition In the Mood for Colours includes well-known, prestigious items and pieces never before put on display, and covers every form of applied arts. The result is a unique cross-section of the Museum’s collection. (Fig. 2) The exhibition is accompanied by the ColourMirror project of the TechLab of Moholy-Nagy University of Art and Design, Budapest. In this interactive installation a mirror scans the clothing of the visitor standing in front of it and the programme finds an object in the exhibition matching this colour scheme. Joint exhibition of the Museum of Applied Arts and the Hungarian Museum of Science, Technology, and Transport The exhibition Bikeology illustrates the role and importance of design in urban cycling through a triple section of the individual, the local communities, and the global challenges. It aims to answer the following questions: How can design inspire safe, comfortable, and stylish cycling? What is the role of the designer in the bicycle-centred development of urban systems? How can design and biking influence global social, environmental and economic processes? The exhibition Bikeology brings us the latest design innovations from more than ten countries.
