3 Using silk thread, I secured the loose ends of the remains of the cord reinforcing the case. I did not reassemble or supplement them. 1 Sticking, supplementation For the supplementation of the lining of the case, I selected calfskin; for the thicker back panel, I chose cowhide. 31 used materials differing from the original because their grain was in appearance better fitted to old and worn artefacts.
