Sculpture, „Sculpture in lace" László Horváth, Hcrend Porcelain Factory, 1988 Crcamware, Top diam.: 15 cm, Foot diam.: 4,3 cm, Height: 15 cm The dish, which splays outwards from the bottom, rather like an inverted cone, stands on a narrow base; its rim curves slightly downwards. The inside contains elaborate layers, resembling crumpled lace or miner­als of peculiar texture (such as molybdenite or ziim-waldite). In places, the plain surface of the sculpture is broken up by different layers. Marked with „H L 88" (Horváth László), engraved on the base. Presented by the Herend Porcelain Factory. Inv. Wall decoration, „Blue-Wave" Undamaged Porcelain, Zoltán Takács, Herend Porcelain Factory, 1990 Diam.: 38,5 cm, Height: 3,8 cm The rim of this large, shallow dish curves slightly upwards. The bright, white glazed surface is decorated with dynamic, splash­ing waves, painted with brush and pen in turquoise. Bears the HEREND mark im­pressed and the mould number 7543. Stamped with the blue factory mark with Kossuth coat of arms; underneath is „DE­SIGNED BY Takács László" in italics. Below the maker's mark is the number 80453 BW (Blue-wave). Zoltán Takács, Herend Porcelain Factory, 1990 Height: 3,8 cm, Diameter: 38, 3 cm The large, shallow dish has a slightly curv­ing, flat rim. The bright, white, glazed sur­face is decorated with wavy, small, flaky patterns in pink and turquoise. Among them, there is a diagonal trellis motif, painted in green glaze, embellished with ar­rows, small Cowers, hexagonal patterns, scrolls, stars and leaves. Bears the Herend mark impressed; the blue factory mark with the Kossuth coat of arms is stamped on top of the glaze. Inscribed below is the maker's mark: „DESIGNED BY Takács Zoltán", in italics. Presented by the Herend Porcelain Factory. Inv. No. 91. 8. 1 26. Wall decoration, „Noir-Gold" Undamaged Porcelain, Zoltán Takács, Herend Porcelain Factory. Diameter: 38,5 cm, Height: 3,8 cm The large, shallow dish has a slightly curv­ing, flat rim. The bright, white glaze is dec­orated with a dynamic, splashing wave and a spread stain of black paint; it is embel­lished with a delicate pen drawing in gold. At the edge of the wavy line there is a soft, waxy surface. Bears the Hcrend mark impressed and the mould number 7543. The blue factory mark is stamped on top of the glaze, the inscrip­tion „DESIGNED BY Takács Zoltán" is un­derneath. The number 80382 (NG) noir­gold appears below this inscription.
