frequencies arose (5 cases) in the anatomical variation of the ossa wormiana (45, 5 %). On the female skulls the frequence of the os epiptericum and the sutura metopica shows equal proportions (in 2 cases resp. : 7, 14 %-7, 14%), and the most frequencies could be found with the anatomical variation of the ossa wormiana (7 cases: 25,0 %). Concerning the abnormalities, the female skull No. 72.5.6 is remarkable as in this case an irregularly developed right-upper and secondary right and left upper dens caninus appeared; furthermore 3 ossified lumbar spondyles on the male skeleton No. 72. 5. 14 and the pathological caput humeri on the male skeleton No. 72. 5. 4 should be mentioned. TAXONOMIC ANALYSIS In order to prepare the examined material for further comparisons and ethnogenetic evaluation, the comparative analysis of the taxonomic composition of the population should be carried out. The importance of the taxonomic analysis within the series was referred to in several times (LIPTAK 1963, 1965, 1969; TÓTH 1958, 1961a, 1962a, 1963, 1966, 1967). On the basis of the comparative metric and morphological analysis of the feature groups - regarding the general view of the cemetery - europoid characteristics predominate. The great-race elements of Mongoloid are present to a higher extent in the females. The taxonomic analysis was performed with character complexes. My examinations led to compose the taxonomic groups as follows. I. A dolicho-mesocranial-euryprosopic, angulately faced, projecting nosed, tall average stature group, in which characteristics referring to Cromagnoid-A and Protoeuropoid elements can be observed (43 %).
