II. A dolichocranial-leptoprosopic, average stature group with features recalling Nordoid types (24 %). III. A dolichocranial-hyperlepto, - mesoprosopic, tall stature Atlanto- Mediterranean group (9 %). IV. A dolichocranial-meso, -leptoprosopic, short stature, Mediterranean group with a gracile, refined skull relief (24 %). I with to mention here that the brachycranial elements are completely missing from the taxonomic analysis of the examined material. COMPARATIVE ANALYSIS The next question is the place of the Avar Period skeletal finds at Fészerlakpuszta in the set of our cemeteries, and their relationship to them. I delimit for the basis of a comparative analysis the following anthropological materials, excavated in a state of good preservation and in high individual numbers, in Czechoslovakia and the Transdanubia (Hungary), deriving from cemeteries originating from the time of the great migrations, as follows: Jutás, Öskü (BARTUCZ 1931), Várpalota (MALAN 1952), Szebény (TÓTH 1961b), Csákberény (TÓTH 1962b), Hegykő (TÓTH 1964), Előszállás-Baj csihegy WENGER 1966, 1967), Kékesd (WENGER 1968), Környe, (TÓTH 1971), Toponár (WENGER 1974), Nové-Zámky (HANAKOVÁ -STLOUKAL 1965). Bearing in mind that the primary taxonomic features concentrate themselves on the facial skeleton, I applied the correlational topography of the main morphological characters, e. g. the cranial breadth - bizygomatic breadth, upper face height - bizygomatic breadth, upper face height orbital index, nasal index - orbital index for both the male (Fig. 1-4. ) and the female (Fig. 5-8. ) series in the course of the comparative analysis.
