16 FRATERNITY FINAL REPORT ON THE ANNIVERSARY UNDERWRITING CONTEST We closed our 60th Anniversary Underwriting Contest on May 20, 1956. This fine competition held over seven months brought praiseworthy results. Our contestants wrote 1,785 regular life certificates with insurance in force of $1,991,250 and 211 term certificates with an additional insurance in force value of $149,500. Thus, the final production is 1,996 certificates giving a protection of $2,140,750 for our new members. In order to give you a comparative basis for correct valuation of the above production, I would like to call your attendtion to the fact that our recently raised yearly quota is $1,900,000 which requirement was far overwritten during this seven-month period.
