It was on April 26, 2006 that the workshop of the outstanding private entrepreneur of the socialist world, lmre Simon got into the possession of the Hungarian Museum for Science and Technology (predecessor of the Hungarian Museum for Science, Technology and Transport). Imre Simon's name is linked with the history of the 'Atomic" coffee machine and the famous highquality Hungarian espresso coffees. The owner of the independent coffee machine manufacturing and repair workshop, Imre Simon was born on July 26, 1906 in Keszthely, and died in 1983 in Budapest. He was brought up in a bourgeois family. His father was dr.
