We wish the newleyweds much happiness. Gary Kovács, son of Eleanor and Steve Kovach of Wilton, Conn., is a student at Graceland College in Iowa. Gary is majoring in architectural engineering. He is a member of the College baseball team. Brother Grebosky, after a lengthy hospital confinement is now being nursed back to health in a Nursing Home. Nicholas Stelkovics (father of National Secretary Stelkovics) was confined to the Norwalk Hospital for several weeks. We are happy to report that he is now at home recuperating. To both Mr. Grebosky and Mr. Stelkovics we wish a speedy and full recovery. Paul Terjeki, Dist. Mgr. 2y TOLEDO, Ohio September — and soon summer will be a memory. Here’s hoping everyone had a wonderful summer. If not — then take advantage of autumn. Enjoy yourself! Bowling season is upon us and Herb Chester — proprietor of R.C.R. (Reynold Corner Recreation) — just remodeled his establishment. It is rightfully called “The Showplace of Bowling’’. The interior decorations are just fabulous — come out and see for yourself. The waterfall is just magnificent! Jimmy Struffolino also remodeled his Rossford Recreation — soon will be in full swing — serving all of the bowlers first class. “Junior Powell will be on T. V. again this year — televising from the beautiful Imperial Lanes. Junior” is a past champion in our William Penn Tournaments. Rip Tinta won the A1 Dugay “Get Away” tournament with a five game total of 1156. This is the first tournament of the 1964-65 season — “Rip” was in top form! Congratulations! We salute another “first” at Branch 27 — Past president William A. Smith succeeded in doing what all professional golfers dream of — “A HOLE IN ONE — Bill shot his tremendous feat at the Knights of Columbus tournament held at the Chippewa Golf Course. Congratulations, Bill! We’re sure you are mighty proud! The Roy Melbers visited friends in Dover and Wheeling, W. Va. Joe Berta and family went to northern Michigan and had some good fishing weather. Julius Vargo took his charming wife Pat and daughters to Canada. But — the Weather and fishing conditions were not to “Jula’s” liking — so he really meant it on his card when he stated “Wish you were here!” Bob Tyukody and wife Dorothy and daughter went to Oklahoma to visit Bob’s sister. Nice country down there and a little on the hot side. Ernie Belegrin and wife Sue spent their leisure time out at their cottage on the shores of Lake Erie. When time permitted, they challenged the choppy waters of the lake with their boat. Dr. Patrick J. Me Charty and fami’y visited the World’s Fair — To see everything “Doc” informed me that one needs a month — at least — so go prepared. Julianne and Kenny Sofalvi are the proud parents of a baby girl. Best wishes to the parents and to the youngster. With the rising increase in hospital costs — rates are constantly going up with the costs. For adequate protection and freedom from worry over hospital bills — get added coverage and protection through the William Penn. You receive a guaranteed renewable hospital contract and we pay you — not the hospital — this way, you always have the additional money for other emergencies. For more information — call the district office 693-8162 or drop us a card. As the children go back to school — be careful in your driving. There is a saying out now “The child you hit may be your own!” So long until next month... STEPHEN J.
