PAGE 6 William Penn April 18, 1962 GOING PLACES Hungarian singer Jeno Mate is a known name in entertainment to many William Penn members, and those who attended our William Penn Bowling Tournament and Fellowship Days a few years ago in Dayton, Ohio will remember that Mate was the featured male singer at that event. Since his arrival in Hollywood two years ago, Mate has reached new heights as an excellent actor who is concentrating on the television medium. During this month of April he has or will appear on the following programs: The Dick Powell Show, Hitchcock Presents, and Ripcord, and in May will make another of his several appearances on The Untouchables. We have just received word from Mickey Gross Enterprises, agents for Jeno Mate, that the popular entertainer is scheduled to sing Hungarian folk songs at the 50th anniversary banquet of the St. Louis Hungarian News on October 27.
