May lé, 1956. William Penn PAGE 9 NEW MEMBERS BIRTHDAYS We extend the hand of fraternalism to the members who joined us last month: ■ Charles Bauman, Martha K. Dudás, Mrs. Albert Molnár, George K. Van Osten, Mrs. Wilmer Smith and László Zsolt. Mrs. Albert Molnár is the Hungarian colony’s most active member. She is seen at practically every gathering, and if you want to learn how to dance the “csárdás” or “rhumba,” you must ask her to teach you. Mrs. Molnar’s mustachioed good-natured husband is also one of the leaders in the community and is associated with top-level management in a knitting machinery company locally. Isten hozta! Mr. Lazslo Zsolt is a newcomer to American shores, having been here only six months. He is an interesting personality and works at his trade of auto mechanic quite diligently. Members can contact him at 1418 North Seventh Street. * * * BANQUET PLANS Our fiftieth anniversary banquet won’t be held until January 1958, but preliminary plans are already being discussed. As soon as plans are better formulated, our members will be informed through the medium of WILLIAM PENN. * * * BY-LAWS Those members who have not received the 1956 edition of our By- Laws — English or Hungarian — should ask for one at the next meeting, or write to Steve Szemes, 42S Maplewood Avenue, Springfield, Pa., for a copy. * * * MEETINGS Each meeting is better attended than the previous one. This is a good sign, and we hope more of you will come out. We meet every second Saturday. Among others, the following new faces were noted: Messrs. Asztalos, Melnick, Nagy, Rost, Zsolt, and our one-time secretary, Rudy Bolla. At' this time we would like to ask our members to pay their dues between 7 and 7:30 p. m. each month, so that the meeting may begin as near to 7:30 as possible. We surprised the members last month by having their pictures taken after the meeting. The pictures will be ready in May. Be sure to order yours. # * * GRACE KELLY Even though Princes Grace Kelly is not a member of Branch 76 of WILLIAM PENN, we must mention her because she lived forpierly in Philadelphia.
