Branch News Members of all ages enjoyed spending time with Santa Claus during the family Christmas party hosted by Branch 525 this past December. have many more and may all of them be healthy. National Eat Ice Cream for Break­fast Day is Feb. 2.1 don't have a problem with this and neither would my grandchildren. Their parents, however, may not agree. We would like to welcome all new members of Branch 352. We would love to share your news! Branch 525 Los Angeles, CA by Sarika Gotz Well, it's February already, but I'm still working on 2018 as I write this. So, Happy Valentine's Day to all our William Penn families. I was so glad to see 2018 go and was ready to welcome 2019. Last year was a heartbreaking year for so many California families. So many lost everything they owned to the fires. And, the shooting of so many young people at the bar in Thousand Oaks was so sad. We held our Christmas party on Dec. 2, and it was a huge success. We welcomed 22 happy children who were so excited to see that jolly, white-bearded Santa and his elves came to spend time with them. We held our Christmas party in conjunction with the Bloomington Hungarian Club. The tables were full; not an empty seat was to be found. The ladies did a great job of decorating. Our tree was beautiful, and the food was delicious, including stuffed cabbage, chicken and Hungarian cookies. It was funny to see all the adults who wanted to sit on Santa's lap and have their picture taken with him and his elves.
