Make a day out of it and travel to Washington, Pa., for our bowling tournament and luncheon at hotel. Then after the WPA buffet luncheon, drive around to the following places to make more memories. Don’t forget your camera! • Washington County has an Annual Covered Bridge Festival held the third weekend in September each year. But these bridges are just as beautiful in April. Take a look at one of the 29 covered bridges in Washington and Greene Counties - some of which you can even drive through, like the Bailey Covered Bridge over Ten Mile Creek in Amwell Township. The museum’s last tour is at 3:00 p.m., so you may want to make this your first stop after our bowling luncheon.
