I Magyar Matters Churches unite to commemorate 500th anniversary of Reformation by Richard E. Sarosi CLEVELAND — A special commemorative service marking the 500th Anniversary of the Reformation was held Oct. 1 at the West Side Hungarian Reformed Church on Puritas Avenue. Members from seven congregations participated in the service, which was celebrated in both the Hungarian and English languages. Following the service, an Agape Meal was served. The theme of the event was stated in the program booklet: "We invite all people of good will to join us as we celebrate, and as we also make peace and build bridges between brothers and sisters in Christ." It was a very moving and enlightening service to commemorate the 500 year anniversary of the Reformation.
