In Memóriám MICHELE J. DALEY-LaFLAME DAYTON, OH - Members of Branch 249 and the entire Dayton Hungarian community were saddened by the recent passing of Branch 249 President Michele J. Daley-LaFlame on April 27, 2017, at Kindred Hospital. Michele, 66, lived a life of deep faith and commitment to her church, Hungarian culture, family and friends. She will be remembered for her many accomplishments and will be greatly missed by all who knew her. Michele was a 1969 graduate of Trotwood- Madison High School and received her BA in home economics in 1973 from Nazareth College in northern Kentucky. She was employed by the Archdiocese of Cincinnati and was parish council president at St. Stephen Catholic Church. She was president of the Magyar Club of Dayton and served on the central committee of the GOP. Michele was preceded in death by her parents, Paul and Helen Daley, in-laws Frank and Elayne LaFlame, brother Paul Franklin Daley, brotherin-law John W. LaFlame and nephew Eric Daniel Cleaveland. She is survived by her husband of 38 years Steven; son John Paul LaFlame and his wife Ella of Washington, D.C. and their daughter, granddaughter Bella LaFlame; step-daughter Heather LaFlame of Phoenix, Ariz.; step-son Jason LaFlame of Dayton; grandchildren Alisa and Deora Neel; sisters Marianne Daley Gabbard, Helene (Don) Cleaveland, Elizabeth Daley-Hewitt and Melanie (David) McGuire; brother John Daley; nieces Carly, Shelby, Brianna, Jessica, Elizabeth, Samantha, Alyssa, Lisa, Dana and Marty; nephews Jason, Cody and Joe, sister-in-law Vicki (Dave) Biddinger, brother-in-law Greg (Cindy) LaFlame, and numerous other family and friends. A Mass of Christian burial was held on May 2, 2017 at St. Adalbert Catholic Church, Dayton. Interment was in Calvary Cemetery.
