Branch News music and dancing to follow. There's not much going on in May at the local level, except the wedding of two of our Dayton members. My daughter Cassie and Greg Heitman will be exchanging vows at St. Joseph Cathedral on May 17 in Columbus. We wish them the best. Don't forget to join us at the WPA Annual Bowling Tournament on May 2 and 3. A great time is always had at the Meadows Racetrack and Casino. We will hold a Join Hands Day project in Dayton on June 14. Tentative plans call for sprucing up the Old North Dayton Park and flag pole area, replacing the American and Hungarian flags and planting flowers. The Dayton Dragons are so popular that the party decks and suites for all the April and May games have sold out. So, I am looking to see how many local Hungarians would like to attend the game on June 28 at 7:00 p.m. Please contact me a.s.a.p and let me know how many tickets you need. Tickets are $11 each. Congratulations to everyone celebrating a birthday this month. To those celebrating anniversaries, may love continue to grow. We hope you have many more. This has been a cold, snowy winter here in Pittsburgh, and most of us are glad to see winter leave. Happy Easter to all. I hope you all have a very blessed Easter spent with loved ones. This is the time of the year when we look forward to all the fraternal events coming up. The first event is our bowling tournament on May 3 which promises to be a fun time at The Meadows Racetrack and Casino in Washington, Pa. We are again having a juvenile bowling event for the young ones. If you don't enjoy gambling, there is a great outlet mall across from the casino. Nearby is Sarris Candy Co. with its charming ice cream parlor and retail outlet. You will find more information on the bowling tournament elsewhere in this issue. Reservations need to be made now if you are planning to attend the tournament. Our golf tournament is being held July 18 and 19 at Quicksilver Golf Club in Midway, Pa., the same location as last year's tournament. The Friday night golfers reception is being held at the Pittsburgh Airport Marriott in Coraopolis, Pa., on July 18. There will also be a miniature golf tournament held at Scally's Golf Center in Coraopolis on July 19 for our young members. Make your plans to attend this fun-filled fraternal event. More details are available in this month's William Penn Life. The 4th Annual Tri-State Picnic is planned for Saturday, May 17, at Scenic View beginning at noon. All members and their families living in the Pennsylvania-Ohio-West Virginia tri-state area are welcome. If you are planning to attend, please bring a covered dish to share. The picnic will last until 4:00 p.m. Come and enjoy good food and fellowship. Special prayers and get well greetings go out to Arlene Csornán who is recovering from surgery. May God's healing grace continue to touch your life. Happy Birthday to all those celebrating a birthday in April. May you have many more and may all of them be healthy.
