Branch News Branch 8114 President Kevin Slike gives a gift bag to a young member attending the branch's Christmas dinner. to be thankful for the continuation of a strong fraternal organization. All branch officers were reelected to served another term in 2012. They are: Vincent Frank, president; Daniel Greiner, vice president; David Greiner, secretary; Robert Jones, treasurer; and Robert Aiken and Myron Yeager, auditors. Just a reminder that Branch 800 meets on the second Monday of the month at 7:00 p.m. in Our Lady of Lourdes Religious Education Center in Altoona. Please try to attend. The branch's Christmas party, held at the Holiday Inn Express in Altoona, turned out to be a happy get together with good food, Santa Claus and gifts for adults and kids. We thank the Home Office for the gifts and monetary help to make this an enjoyable evening. We're looking forward to the 2012 party. The Lenten season begins on Ash Wednesday, Feb. 22.
