Second Annual WPA Tri-State Area Picnic

Tri-State Area Picnic to be held on Saturday, May 19, 2012, in the beautiful countryside at Scenic View in Rockwood, Pa. The invitation is open to all members of William Penn Association in branches throughout the Pennsylvania/Ohio/West Virginia Tri-State Area.

In the morning, we will participate in Join Hands Day when we will once again perform general landscape maintenance of areas in Scenic View. If you have any buckets or garden utensils, please bring them. Gloves will be provided.

In the afternoon we will gather for food and family fun - fishing, baseball, bingo — whatever else you might be interested in. Bring the materials and equipment for whatever game you would like to play.

We will enjoy hamburgers, hot dogs, chicken and kolbász on the grill. We do ask, however, that each branch attending the picnic bring side dishes and/or desserts to share. Drinks, plates and silverware will be provided. We will also enjoy an authentic bacon roast over the coals.

Please meet at 10:00 a.m. for Join Hands Day duties. Lunch will be served at noon at the Kohut Pavilion. The picnic will last until 4:00 p.m.

We are asking that each branch attending the picnic donate $50 towards expenses. Reimbursement is available under our matching funds program.

Let's make this a day to remember! Only by your participation can William Penn Association continue to provide fraternal activities to its members.
