Branch News Branch 10 Barton, OH Branch 40 Martins Ferry, OH Branch 248 Monaville, WV Branch 349 Weirton, WV Branch 8164 Steubenville, OH by Joyce Nicholson Hello from the WPA branches of Barton, Martins Ferry, Weirton, Steubenville and Monaville! A small group of our branches' baseball fans had a wonderful time on Sunday, Aug. 15, when we got together for an afternoon pre-game tailgate party before the Washington Wild Things vs. the Normal Cornbelters game in Washington, Pa. The weather was very beautiful that day; a great day for baseball! The Wild Things won the game in the bottom of the ninth (4-3) which added to our festivities for the evening. Best wishes to all members who are celebrating anniversaries or birthdays this month. Get well wishes to all members not feeling their best. Our sincere sympathy to those members who recently experienced the loss of a loved one. For information about our branch activities, please call Joyce Nicholson at 740-264-6238. We saw everyone. Now that we spent so much time with them, we miss them more than ever. Look out, Chef Béla: our sonin-law Glenn made us a typical delicious Hungarian dinner on our last night. Super great stuffed peppers with all the trimmings. Our daughter Deborah did the entire table in Herend, Kolocsa and Szolnai. I should have taken a picture.
