Branch News Helping to plant flowers during Branch 18's Join Hands Day project at St Francis Xavier Church were Shelby Truesdell, Ashley Haas, Aaron Stubbs and Ryan Stubbs. Lovely to meet you. Thanks also to Rose P. Antal and Helen Molnár who worked side by side with me in the ticket booth...and I mean worked. My brother Joe Gall and his wife Wanda came all the way from Mississippi for the festival. He comes every year. I hope you also helped to keep that wonderful event alive. Thanks, mom, for the beautiful tribute you put in the Holy Cross festival ad book. I have it framed and read it daily. I love you. Get well wishes go to Doug Truesdell, Ethel Farkas, Lou Deregi, Bela Imry and Elsie Kantor. You are always in our prayers. Please pray for our deceased members and their families, especially Jeanette Udvardi, Joyce Dabrowski, C. Dale Adams, Carolyn Lavoy, Steve Molnár, William Imry, Mary Cook and John Roskevitch. I hope to see many more of you next year. Many hands make short work. Thanks to Ashley Haas, Shelby Truesdell, Carol and Doug Truesdell, Tom House, Helen Molnár, Eileen Gonzales, Kay Momtsios, Liz Piwowarski, Ryan and Erin Stubbs of Troop 1381, Shirley Gegus and Rudy Korpák. Even the Rev. Victor Roman was on his knees in the dirt. The grounds really look lovely. Thank you all for your hard work. Congratulations to Rose P. Antal on her decision to retire from her job at the Henry Ford Greenfield Village and Museum. All her friends can still see her on Friday at the Hungarian American Cultural Center. Good luck, Rose. We love you. Our next branch meeting will be held Wednesday, Sept. 12, at 7:00 p.m. at the American Hungarian Reformed Church.
