Branching Out with Endre Csornán Continued from previous page tion form found on Page 2 of this issue and mail it to the Home Office. 7th Annual WPA Picnic- A Great Fraternal Fest Preparations for the 7th annual picnic are well underway. Last week, I spent two days at Penn Scenic View upgrading some equipment used at the picnic. It was a pleasant surprise to see the road and pavilion area being tarred and chipped for this year's event. The Stable Lodge bathrooms were enlarged and totally remodelled, and central air was installed at the Lakeside Lodge. This year, the food court will be under a tent. More golf carts will be available to transport people from the parking lot to the picnic area and back. Sincere appreciation is given to WPA Chairman of the Board Steve Varga and his wife Donna who planted flowers at the entrance to the retreat center. This gesture shows their love for this special place. The picnic will feature plenty of food to choose from (all you can eat), games, raffles, the Chinese auction, live entertainment, hayrides and tours of the property. You can have your choice of coffee, iced tea, lemonade, soda pop, water and more. You can sit back and enjoy the music by Dorothy & Co., or you can do the csárdás. For the children, the picnic again features a series of fun events, including face painting, coloring, games and other activities. All proceeds from the picnic will benefit the William Penn Fraternal Association Scholarship Foundation. For more information, please call the Home Office toll-free at 1- 800-848-7366, ext. 136.
