In Memóriám FRANK A. PETERFY COLUMBUS, OH-The members of Branch 129 Columbus were saddened by the recent death of longtime Branch President Frank A. Peterfy. Mr. Peterfy, 78, passed away Jan. 23, 2006. He was bom Jan. 11, 1928, in Columbus. He was a retired captain of the Columbus police department, the original "Eye in the Sky" for WBNS radio and a retired director of security for Wolfe Industries. He was also a navy veteran of World War II and an army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Mr. Peterfy was a member of the Hungarian Reformed Church and the Capitol City Lodge #9 of the Fraternal Order of Police. He is survived by his wife, Violet; sons Robin and Scott; daughters, Amy Hanes and Laurie Cluck; seven grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; a brother, Bela Peterfy; a sister, Julia Bean; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his first wife, Beverly. Burial was in Reber Hill Cemetery, near Ashville, Ohio. The family suggests memorial contributions be made to Delaware County Hospice.
