I know you are thrilled with your Steelers. You wouldn't believe how many Pittsburghers are down here. It was really an exciting weekend. Maybe next year Steelers & Lions? Maybe not. Happy St. Patrick's Day. Can you believe it? Thank goodness the winter is fleeing. We can get away from these horrible heating bills pretty soon. I hope you are all keeping warm and healthy. We sure are. This winter is a really nice one. January was unusually warm here in Melbourne Beach. February is not quite so nice. But, I'm not shoveling anything but sand. I am busily working on my bowling teams. Hope you are also. We are hoping the change in date will fit better with most of your schedules. We can only hope it was a good decision. It was so nice to see all those pictures in the William Penn Life. Didn't those children look happy? Dawn Ward looks great, too. Keep up the good work. I hope to see many more pictures and articles in next month's publication. We must tell the world of all the wonderful things the WPA does. Get well wishes to Art Antal, Helen Nagy, Laveme Exner, Bela Imry, Olga and A1 Wansa, Rocky Borsa, Augie Acosta and Sándor Yuhas. Special wishes also to Elsie Kantor, chairperson of Branch 18's auditing committee, who underwent serious surgery. We love you. Get well soon. Congratulations to Elsie and Bob Kantor on their 52nd anniversary. Wow! Also, congratulations to Emma and Rocky Borsa on the birth of their new grandson Nicolas. He is the second son of Lori and Gary Gross. Reservations for our June trip are closed. We have more than enough to make it a "go." Thank you all for getting your money in, in a timely fashion. Please pray for our deceased members and their families, especially Frank Merta, Theresa Szabó and Richard Lewandowski. I just got a call from Ernie Mayoros saying his brother Julius has died. He was tiny but mighty, and he baked the best zucchini bread. May they all rest in peace. Remember the Sara Project. Branch 18 will participate as long as there is a need. We will have a box at all our meetings beginning in April. Bring toiletries and, more importantly, medicinal products. The schedule of events at Holy Cross Church include a Lenten day of reflection on March 18 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. The church will also hold a kalacs sale April 1 and 2. Please call the church or Grace Balaythy to place your orders. Blessing of food will be Saturday, April 15, at 3:00 p.m. Also, the church will host a wedding anniversary celebration Sunday, April 30, at the 11:00 a.m. Mass with a 12 William Penn Life, March 2006 Members of Branch 19 celebrate the holidays at the branch’s Christmas party.
