63rd Annual Bowling Tournament Our ‘Lucky Strike’ winners PITTSBURGH — Rolling a strike is tough enough, but when there's money on the line and dozens of people are watching you, it can be down right impossible. Just ask the many bowlers who had a chance to win in our "Lucky Strike" contest but couldn't roll a strike when opportunity called. But, once again, the near impossible is what four William Penn bowlers did during the "Lucky Strike" contest, held as part of the team event on Saturday, May 6, at Princess Lanes in Whitehall, Pa. In the photo on the left, bowlers Jackie Strom (center) and Temple Coldren (second from right) each won $100. This is the second year in a row that Ms. Strom was a Lucky Strike winner. Congratulating her and Mr. Coldren are Tournament Co-Administrators Anthony C. Beke (far right), Charles S. Johns and Margaret H. Boso. In the photo on the right, bowlers Cassie Holmes and Dale Strom each won $200. Thank you, lane Sponsors! We thank all the members, friends, branches and businesses who supported the William Penn Fraternal Association Scholarship Foundation, Inc., by signing on as lane sponsors for this year's annual bowling tournament.
