In Memóriám — ERNEST J. MOZER, SR. Former Member of the National Auditing Committee by Martha Bari llo CLIFTON, NJ - On Saturday, Nov. 15, we said good-bye to our dear friend, Ernest J. Mozer Sr. Ernie passed away Nov. 11 at the age of 73. He was a member and coordinator of Branch 51 Passaic, N.J., and a former member of the WPA's National Auditing Committee. His friends and family came from far and near to say farewell. Ernie was born in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada, and came to the United States in 1935, living first in New York City, then Passaic, before settling in Clifton in 1962. Ernie retired from Public Service Gas and Electric Co. in 1992 after 42 years of service as a customer service representative and was a Korean War veteran. His funeral can be compared to that of a high dignitary. He was honored for the time he donated to many organizations, including St. Stephen Roman Catholic Magyar Church of Passaic, St. Mary Hospital in Passaic, The General Hospital Center at Passaic, the Little Sisters of the Poor in Totowa, N.J., and other civic organizations. He was a dedicated, hard-working member of the WPA, serving our branch for many years and for 12 years as a member of the National Auditing Committee. Most of all, he was dedicated to his family which, at this sad time, was a model of the American way of life. He is survived by his wife Maria; three sons, Ernest J. Jr., John and Richard; two daughters, Marian Rubin and Christine Baldyga; and 11 grandchildren. He will be missed by all. Our prayers are with his family in this time of sorrow. May he rest in peace.
