When you add in the money raised by the sale of langos, pastries and popcorn-plus a few generous donations-the picnic raised a total of $7,603.50 for our young scholars. The parking lots were pretty full. Nine buses from various branches brought groups of members and friends. This picnic is what Fraternalism is all about. As I am writing this, I am receiving phone calls from folks wishing to congratulate the WPA on a super job. It was said that we had more than 1,100 people at the picnic. WOW!
