Branch News members, families and friends: the branch's annual Christmas party will be held on Sunday, Dec. 15 at 6:00 p.m. at the Holiday Inn Express on Pleasant Valley Boulevard next to Perkins Restaurant in Altoona. Come and join in on the catered holiday dinner. Mr. and Mrs. Santa Claus will arrive to give gifts to all adults and treats to the children. Mark your calendar and give me a call to place your reservations at 814-695-0213. Deadline for reservations is Dec. 11. Branch 800 will be taking part in the WPA Holiday Basket program. We thank the Home Office for its leadership in keeping this charitable activity alive. Just think of how many families this program has touched over the years.
