Branching Out with Endre Csornán You’re invited to join us for a day of Hungarian food, music and fun Plans are being formulated for the Second Annual WPA Picnic to be held Saturday, Sept. 14, 2002, at Penn Scenic View in Rockwood, Pa. Every effort will be made to ensure our members and guests a very good time. First, we will have plenty of tasty Hungarian food, such as:- Gulyas;- Kolbász;- Lecsó;- Cabbage and noodles;- Szalonna sütés (bacon fry);- Sauerkraut; along with assorted beverages. Langos and pastries will be available for purchase. All proceeds from the sale of these goodies will benefit the William Penn Fraternal Association Scholarship Foundation. Secondly, there will be great music provided by Dorothy & Company. They'll make it a great day for danc­ing, singing or just listening. There will be a special program of games and activities for children as well as games for adults. A Chinese auction with many fantastic prizes will be sponsored by Branch 352 Coraopolis, Pa., and Branch 18 Lincoln Park, Mich. Tickets for the day are: adults, $7; senior citizens (age 62 and older), $6; and students, $4. Children 10 and under will be admitted free. All the property at Penn Scenic View has been reserved exclusively for our use. The picnic's food and activities will be held at the Lakeside Lodge. There will be plenty of free parking for cars and buses. Please join us on this date. Bring your friends, neighbors and churcl members. Let them see our beautiful facilities at Penn Scenic View.
