LATOYA, ANGEL, DONALD & ALEXANDER BOSWELL Branch 18 Lincoln Park, Ml TANNER M. FOLEY Branch 296 Springdale, PA AMY & JONATHAN YUHOUSE Branch 226 McKeesport, PA REV. STEPHEN KATO PITTSBURGH - The WPA and the Hungarian American community were saddened by the death of our friend, the Rev. Stephen Kato. Father Kato, 82, passed away on April 15, 2002, after a brief illness. He was assigned to St. Ladislaus Hungarian Roman Catholic Church in Beaver Falls, Pa., from 1948 to 1962. When the Hungarian refugees came to Beaver Falls in 1956 and 1957, he was instrumental in their placement in the local community by securing jobs for many of them. Father Kato was reassigned to McKeesport, Pa., in 1962 where he continued to serve the Hungarian community, even postponing his retirement in order to fill the pulpit of St. Stephens Hungarian Roman Catholic Church. His life of service to the Lord continued for 40 more years, and his memory will continue to inspire all who knew and loved him.- Endre Csornán Please pray for the eternal rest of Father Kato and all our recently departed members listed herein: MARCH 2002 0001 BRIDGEPORT, CT Bessie Abresky William Brada 0008 JOHNSTOWN, PA James Garay 0014 CLEVELAND, OH John Palagyi József Sabitsch Joseph L.
