Branch News lucky. Let's help those not nearly as fortunate as us. On Friday, Sept. 13, Branch 18 will sponsor a bus trip to the WPA picnic at Penn Scenic View in Pennsylvania. We will return on Saturday evening, Sept. 14. See the ad on the previous page for more information. Make your reservations a.s.a.p. Congratulations to member Sara McKinsey who was named in the 2002 edition of Who's Who in America's Colleges and Universities. I hear she is also getting married in 2003. What a wonderful life she has in front of her. God bless her in her many endeavors. Get well to all our members, especially Betty Holguin and Mike Poliska. They are two of our hardest working and most supportive members. Please get well soon. We love you a lot. How about sending them a card or giving them a call. They would really appreciate it. Please mark your calendars for these upcoming events: Holy Cross Hungarian Festival at the Yack on June 8 and 9; and the Feast of St. Stephen of Hungary Mass and dinner on Aug. 18. Branch 18 upcoming events include branch meetings on May 17 and June 14, our third annual picnic on Aug. 4, the Penn Scenic View trip on Sept. 13 and 14, and our 50-year member banquet on Sept. 22. More information will be coming to you as the time nears for each event. Happy birthday to Elsie Kantor, the Rev. Barnabas Kiss and my wonderful grandson, Jason Wolfe on May 9. May you have many more. We love you. I'll tell you all about the bowling tournament next month. I can't wait to see everyone again. Now, start thinking about our Annual Golf Tournament in July. I'll be happy to make up some foursomes. For information on any of the above mentioned events or for all your life insurance and annuity needs, please call me at (313) 383-4472 or (313) 294-3997. Branch 28 Youngstown, OH by Kathy Novak Wishing the best of luck to all those participating in the 59th Annual Bowling Tournament. We'ré looking forward to seeing everyone at this wonderful event. It's nice to be able to have a good time while generating funds for the scholarship foundation. It's hard to believe summer will soon be here, with all the social activities available to choose from. Watch upcoming issues for more information. Sincere congratulations to the graduates of 2002. The doors of opportunity ate opening for you. It was so nice to be able to visit with Mike Tomcsak and Joan Mauerman who were in Youngstown for a family wedding recently. Time flies when in the company of such good friends.
