Sunday, April 1, is a day to keep in mind. It's not only April Fools Day, but it is also the day on which daylight savings time begins. So, set your clocks ahead one hour the night before.

If your child or grandchild is planning to enter college this fall, then it may be worth your while to check into the WPA scholarship program. The eligibility rules for WPA grants appear inside the front cover of this issue. Application deadline is May 31,2001.

It's refreshing to know that spring will soon be here. The long days of winter will soon be over, and we will soon be able to plan outdoor activities and smell the beautiful flowers.

Goodbye, winter. Hello, spring!

March 19 to 25 is National Spring Fever Week and the monthly branch meeting is on the first day of spring, March 20 at 7:00 p.m. at the Immaculate Conception Church, Main Street, Clarion. Members and non-members from Clarion and all surrounding

areas are invited to participate in fellowship and fraternalism.
