WPA branches called together the young and young-at-heart to celebrate the Christmas season in fraternal style. Many of the parties featured performances by local magicians which enthralled and entertained both children and adults, and served delicious food which satisfied even the heartiest appetites. Each party also played host to a very special visitor from the North Pole. But, once again, our branch Christmas parties demonstrated the kinship between the Christmas spirit and the spirit of Fraternalism: both generate genuine feelings of warmth, kindness and charity and solidify bonds between generations and neighbors. As these photographs attest, it was indeed a Merry Christmas at our branches in 2000.
