The next Branch 14 meeting will be held Saturday, May 8, at 3:00 p.m. at the Brecksville Community Center, 1 Community Dr., Brecksville.

There are two enjoyable summer activities planned for members of Branch 14. The first is an overnight bus trip to the Grand Victoria Riverboat Casino in Rising Sun, Ind. The bus will depart from Rockside Road in Independence Monday, June 21 at 6:50 a.m. It will return Tuesday evening, June 22. Overnight accomodations will be at the Hyatt in Rising Sun. For more information call Branch Treasurer Carol Perkins at (440) 238-6465. Reservations must be made by June 1.

Branch 14 is also sponsoring an outing to Geauga Lake Amusement Park Sunday, Aug. 22. Please complete the form below and send it to the Ward Agency by Aug. 1.

by Mary V. Kaszonyi There's not much news from Chicago, other than that we are looking forward to the Annual Bowling Tournament. Turnout for this event from our branch is minimal, but those of us that will be attending will let you know next month how it went. We look forward to seeing so many of the other branches' members, renewing old friendships and making new ones.

For those of you that are not bowlers, think about attending the Annual Golf Tournament. I'm told

We would like to wish all mothers a very peaceful and joyous Mother's Day. We hope all those April showers we experienced bring all the beautiful May flowers for your celebrations.

Birthday greetings (a very special year) to Terezija Corba, Branch 15 secretary. Many happy returns to her and all that are celebrating birthdays in May.

Please remember in your prayers all our members and friends who have departed or who are ill. A personal get well wish goes out to Gabor Bako.

by Barbara A. House I can't wait till the bowling tournament. It's wonderful to see so many wonderful friends. I'm so glad it's coming soon. Good luck to all the bowlers. I hope the $10,000 finally goes this year.

Remember, right after bowling comes our national golf tournament. Papers will be in the mail soon. Call me if I can help you get placed on a foursome.

Get well wishes to Marge Penzes, Art Antal and Lou Almassy. A speedy recovery is wished for Elsie Kantor who fell and broke her arm. She's in a cast that extends from her wrist to near her shoulder. Hope you're better soon.
