We are proud of all our Dayton bowlers and look forward to seeing you in the fall for the 1992-93 league season. Remember, for your insurance needs, contact our local agent, William R. Sipe, at (513) 439- 1242. Branch 352 Coraopolis, PA By Dianne A. Charles Branch 352 Reporter A big thank you to all our branch members who donated baked goods for the Friday night golfers reception at the national golf tournament. Congratulations to all prize winners. I hope everyone had a nice weekend. Welcome to Jeffrey Wilwohl, our newest Branch 352 member. During a recent trip to the Carnegie Science Center, it was nice to see branch members Bill and Helen Furedy. It turns out they are volunteers at the center. Isn’t that a wonderful way to spend some free time? If you do volunteer work or you are working on a community project, we would like to hear about it. Steve Charles recently participated in the St. Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital Mathathon. He completed all 228 problems correctly. After completing the problems, he went door to door collecting the money family and friends had pledged for such a worthy cause. Good work, Steve. We’re proud of you. Happy birthday to all branch members celebrating their special day in August. Some Branch 352 members will be traveling to Hungary in a few weeks. We do hope you have a wonderful time. If you have news you would like to share, write to Dianne A. Charles, 2027 Sunnydale Road, Pittsburgh, PA 15243, or call 221-5136. Branch 8057 Verona, PA By Mary Dialoiso Branch 8057 President At our June meeting we had a covered dish social. Thanks to all who brought a dish to share. There will be no further branch meetings until Sept. 9 when we will have a Watkins demonstration. Everyone is welcome to bring a friend. We will start at noon and share a nice lunch. So, please come. Our members are also invited to join us for a trip to Wildwood and Atlantic City Aug. 30 to Sept. 4. For more information call Mary at 828-4234. We wish all our shut-ins a speedy recovery. We also extend our best wishes to all those celebrating birthdays this month. Branch 8121 St* Marys, PA By Margaret Marconi Branch 8121 Secretary Branch 8121 held its regular business meeting on June 3 at St. Marys Parochial School. During the meeting, we planned the menu for our Aug. 2 picnic at St. Marys school. A number of our members helped construct floats for a celebration marking the 150th anniversary of St. Marys’ founding. The celebration included a threeand-a-half hour parade with 167 units. The awards for the best floats went to Queen of the World and Sacred Heart schools. More than 1,000 attended a special field Mass held at St. Joseph Convent the next day. Other activities included open houses at both the convent and Elk County Christian High School. In Memoriom Recent Donations FRANK J.
