Bill of Rights continues tour of eastern seaboard PITTSBURGH - In August 1916, Hungarians from around the greater Pittsburgh area gathered on St. Stephen’s Day to celebrate their very first Hungarian Day. On July 31, 1991, Hungarians from around Pittsburgh will mark the 75th anniversary of that first Hungarian Day with festivities at Kennywood Park, located in West Mifflin. This year’s event will once again be a day for Hungarians of all religious, social and professional affiliations to celebrate as one their common folk traditions. Box 438 New Brunswick, NJ 08903 The largest operating wooden sailing ship in the world is marking the Bicentennial of the Bill of Rights with a tour along the east coast of the United States. The H.M.S. Rose began its tour in April and will conclude it in December. During that time it will tour the entire coast from Maine to Florida, making 25 ports of call so that school children can visit the ship and see displays of historic documents and artifacts connected with the Bill of Rights. The original copy of the Bill of Rights sent to Rhode Island for ratification will be the centerpiece of the displays.
