our party. Each and every one of the 52 students will be a welcome addition to our celebration.

Children will receive special surprise bags, and there will be entertainment for everyone.

An important difference in this year’s party is that it will be a covered dish affair. So, we urge all those planning to attend to show off your cooking talents and bring your favorite dish.

Our December meeting will also feature the annual election

of branch officers. We hope all our adult members will make a point of attending and voting.

At our November meeting, we all enjoyed meeting our new member, Lucy Pezzillo. We were also glad to see an "old timer,” Rose Cinefre, who attended her first meeting since recovering from her illness.

We pray for the speedy recovery of all shut-ins and those who are ill.

We also extend birthday greetings to members Esther D’Amico

and Mary Dasta who celebrate their birthdays in December. May you both celebrate many more birthdays in the years to come.

Again, we hope to see you on Wednesday, Dec. 14.

Father Richard Wersing, spiritual

advisor of Branch 8222, celebrated his 51st anniversary in the priesthood with a mass and banquet on Oct. 16.

He celebrated the mass at St. James Church in Wilkinsburg, the same church where he celebrated both his first mass and 25th anniversary mass. As a boy, he attended St. James School.

After the mass, a banquet in his honor was held at Duquesne University.

Father Wersing served as a chaplain in the U.S. Army for 20

years and is an archivist for the Holy Ghost Fathers. He celebrated his 50th anniversary as a priest in Tanzania.

Those from Branch 8222 who joined Father Wersing at his recent celebration were: Harriet Butler, Marie Lubegott, Rosella Brown, Norbert and Anna Clair, and Gilbert and Eileen Wenzel.

In other branch news, our members continue to be ff atemally involved every week at the St. Joseph Nursing and Health Care Center in Garfield.

The William Penn Association Federal Credit Union #02661 is hereby authorized to recognize any of the signatures subscribed hereto in the payment of funds or the transaction of any business for this account. The joint owners of this account, hereby agree with each other and with said Credit Union that all sums now paid in on shares, or heretofore or hereafter paid in on shares by any or all of said joint owners to their credit as such joint owners with all accumulations thereon, are and shall be owned by them jointly, with right of survivorship and be subject to the withdrawal or receipt of any of them, and payment to any of them or the survivor or survivors shall be valid and discharge said Credit Union from any liability for such payment. The joint owners also agree to the terms and conditions of the account as established by the credit union from time to time.

Any or all of said joint owners may pledge all or any part of the shares in this account as collateral security to a loan or loans from this credit union.

The right or authority of the credit union under this agreement shall not be changed or terminated by said owners, or any of them except by written notice to said credit union which shall not affect transactions theretofore made.
