A special thanks to Joan Tomcsak for making those beautiful Christmas wreaths for each female Youngstown joins in fraternal activities By Helen Kaluczky Branch 28 Reporter YOUNGSTOWN, OH - It was short notice but we made it to the regional meeting that Fraternal Director Elizabeth Szabó conducted Jan. 16 at the Franciscan’s Hall. It was an elightening opportunity to hear some of the activities being planned for this area. It was also quite enjoyable to meet with our National President Gay B. Banes, Executive Vice President John F. Kenawell and Regional Sales Manager Jeff Ward. Somehow, in a quiet atmosphere, plans for the future seem to come together and make it possible. You sort of acquire a "can do” attitude, especially when you hear words of encouragement from all sides. Plans for the egg decorating classes were formulated, and you have seen the result of some of that planning in the January issue. The Hungarian State Folk Ensemble from Budapest will be here March 12 at Stambaugh Auditorium. A táncház, an informal gathering following the performance, will be held. The home for the elderly, Camp Rolling Hills and the rest of the grounds are a wondrous sight and are just a few hour away. All interested members should contact Elizabeth Szabó.
