Page 8, November-December 1986, William Penn Life 1986-1987 Scholarship Recipients Every year Association members attending accredited colleges and universities as full-time undergraduate students are eligible to apply for grants through the William Penn Fraternal Association Scholarship Foundation. It is the task of the Awards Committee to choose applicants who demonstrate the greatest need. This year, a record 151 students were to receive scholarship grants totalling $37,840, the greatest sum ever awarded by the Foundation in a single year. To all of these scholars, especially the 63 first-time grant recipients that we salute here, we extend our most sincere congratulations and best wishes for success in this school year.
