Foster has signed a proclamation urging all societies to set aside May as FIC Month this year. The William Penn Association is proud to have 11 people with the designation of FIC (Fraternal Insurance Counselor), namely: Ron Abels; Joseph Barreiro; George Charles; Rubin Minowitz; Jodene Pascarella; Robert Segal; Samuel Sulkosky; Joseph Toma; Richard Toth; Daniel Wahl and Frank Wukovits, Sr. PROCLAMATION WHEREAS, Fraternal Insurance Counselors have been key builders of the growth and progress experienced by the Fraternal Benefit System during the past 47 years; and WHEREAS, Fraternal Insurance Counselors have established and maintained high standards of ethical conduct in the profession of Fraternal Life Underwriting and servicing of Fraternal Life Insurance; and WHEREAS, Fraternal Insurance Counselors continuously strive to increase their knowledge concerning legal reserve Fraternal Life Insurance, to render better fraternal service to members of their Societies, and to develop more successful sales methods; and WHEREAS, Fraternal Insurance Counselors, through State Chapters and the National Association of Fraternal Insurance Counselors, provide opportunities for the exchange of ideas among leading Fraternal Field Representatives; and WHEREAS, Fraternal Insurance Counselors endeavor to share their experience and knowledge of fraternal life underwriting with all Fraternal Field Representatives; and WHEREAS, Fraternal Insurance Counselor’s dedication to the principles of fraternalism provides major impetus to the Fraternal Benefit System to create a better fraternal world. William B. Foster, President In Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the William Penn Association, we have introduced several new insurance plans. One of these plans is the Single Premium Whole Life Policy based on the 1980 Commissioners Standard Mortality Table. This will provide our members with the lowest possible premium cost. (Based on age closest to birthday). As part of our celebration, we are converting approximately 21,000 certificates to the 1980 CSO Single Premium Whole Life Insurance Plan. This is a fully paid-up insurance certificate with a larger face amount of insurance in most cases. We plan to personally deliver as many of the 21,000 certificates as possible. If you have one of these certificates, please be patient if you have not been contacted by one of our representatives. This is a gigantic task and will require everyone’s help and support. Some members find it difficult to believe that we are doing this—but it’s true. When you are contacted by one of our representatives, welcome them and you will be glad you did.
