On December 13, 1983 at the Elec­tion of Officers Meeting, the following were elected to serve our organization for the year of 1984: Frank J. Wukovits, Sr., President; Frank J. Wukovits, Jr., 1st Vice President; Steve Pécsi, 2nd Vice President; Arthur G. Wolford, Recording Secretary; Alex J. Horvath, Branch Treasurer; Leslie C. Baumgartner, Social Fund Treasurer; Robert Torok, Assistant Social Fund Treasurer. Directors elected are: Joseph Hor­vath, Leslie Molnár, Joseph Pal and Frank T. Wiltrout. Auditing Commit­tee Members elected are: Joseph Ber­talan, Ronald Bobelenyi and James Draskovits. Historian, Monsignor Elmer G. Peterson; Charity Chair­person, Mrs. Ruth Baumgartner. The Branch Meetings will continue to be held on the 2nd Tuesday of each month at 7:00 P.M. in the William Penn Home, 1024 West Indiana Avenue, South Bend, Indiana. Fraternally yours, Frank J. Wukovits, Sr. President, Branch 132 Branch 1 50 Masontown, Pa. William Penn Association Branch 150, Masontown, Pa., held its Christ­mas Children’s and Family Party on Sunday, December 11 at 2:00 p.m., at the Pal’s Social Hall in Masontown. The children had a good time as they sang Christmas carols and played games. The children then were treated to pizza’s and orange drinks. After that, Santa Claus gave treats to all the children. The treats contained twelve (12) different kinds of candy, a box of cracker jack, orange and an apple. Children and parents of Branch 150 with Santa Claus. 24 With Branch Manager Louis Jesso are Mr. & Mrs. Stephen Jesso and family, Mrs. Donna Cerulla and family, Mr. & Mrs. Nichlos Jesso and family, Mr. & Mrs. David Jesso and farrtily (Dave is secretary of Branch 150), Mrs. Joseph Simon and family, and Mrs. Thomas Jesso and family. Branch 1 59 Phoenixville, Pa. The Fourth Annual Christmas Party of Branch 159, William Penn Associa­tion, was held on Thursday, December 15, 1983 at the Parkside United Church of Christ Social Room. Thirty-eight children, parents and grandparents enjoyed being enter­tained by “Mr. Stupid”, the clown. Following the singing of some Christmas Carols, Santa Claus, por­trayed by Mr. John Serdy, Sr., presented gifts and candy to all the children. When all the boys and girls told Santa about their Christmas wishes, the mothers were presented with a gift from Branch 159. Refreshments were also enjoyed by everyone. Fraternally yours, William J. Kovach Branch Manager 159 Branch 189 Alliance, Ohio Halloween, Christmas and New Year have come and gone, all of which was celebrated with great festivity at Branch 189 William Penn Club in Alliance, Ohio. The fourth Halloween party was quite a success with merriment and dancing to the Avenue Band and “Pug”, too. Dinner certificates were given to prize winners of best, most original and funniest costumes. Wm. Penn bar and kitchen helpers "dressed up” for Halloween. Elected were Mike Duruttya, President; Karl Trumpeter, Vice President; John A. Barany, Secretary; Zoltán Cibulas, Treasurer; Auditors, Zack Taylor and Richard Fetters. The nominating committee consisted of Miss Kathy Cibulas and Mrs. Dorothy Trumpeter. The officers were sworn in by Miss Cibulas. Prior to the election of officers President Duruttya and members observed a moment of silent prayer for all deceased members of Alliance Branch 189. Sophia Gibbons congratulated the officers on the fantastic job they are doing to make the William Penn Club such a family affair and a pleasant place to patronize. Adran Amos com­plimented the managers of the club on their part in making the club such a success. i
