Kertesz Branch 590 Cape Coral, Florida Our March 13, 1983 meeting was opened with prayer by Reverend Arpad Györgyi at 4:00 P.M., held at the home of branch manager and wife’s, Anthony G. and Elizabeth Noel. After a short business meeting we discussed the possibility of having another picnic in the very near future, since the one we had on January 30th was such a huge success. Attending the outdoor affair held at the Florida Power and Light picnic pavillion, courtesy of member John Veres, whose son is an employee of said company, made it possible for our Branch 590 to hold our picnic on this beautiful ground. Attending the outdoor affair were 42 members and guests. The weather was a balmy, sunny afternoon 79 degrees. Many pleasure boats were cruising past the picnic area, which is located on the Orange River in Tice, Florida. Everyone did some cooking of hot dogs, burgers, kolbász and the traditional Hungarian “szalona sutes” was enjoyed by everyone. The playing of Hungarian music (on records) did help to put us in a festive mood. Some members and guests participated in playing cards, horseshoe games and botchie ball. Manager Anthony G. Noel thanks you all for making it a delightful day. A reminder: for serving your insurance needs, contact Branch 590 manager Anthony G.
